A Bookkeeping 101 class specifically tailored for small businesses. Topics will include accounting basics, setting up your Chart of Accounts, Payroll basics, sales taxes, federal taxes and IRS “red flags.” We’ll talk about the latest, cloud-based apps and tools available, tips for keeping your financial data secure, library resources, and things to consider when choosing which software apps to use to run your business.
Taught by Sharon Asplund of Peritae Accounting & Tax Services. Sharon has over 25 years experience as a statistical analyst, bookkeeper and staff accountant. She has two years of CPA firm experience and has owned three small businesses. All workshops are free.
